Er is een groeiende behoefte aan gekwalificeerde IB-specialisten. Echter, werkervaring als informatiebeveiliger is voor werkgevers en opdrachtgevers tegenwoordig vaak niet voldoende. Certificering van kennis en ervaring door een internationaal erkende organisatie is daarom van groot belang. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is internationaal een van de belangrijkste certificeringen binnen het vakgebied.
Omschrijving
De vijfdaagse opleiding CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional leidt op voor het wereldwijd erkende officiële CISSP-examen. Met de certificering wordt u erkend als security professional en toont u aan dat u in staat bent informatiebeveiliging in te voeren en te borgen binnen uw organisatie.
Tijdens de cursus behandelen wij alle kennis die u nodig heeft voor het CISSP-examen. De volgende acht domeinen komen aan de orde:
- Security and Risk Management (Security, Risk, Compliance, Law, Regulations, Business Continuity);
- Asset Security (Protecting Security of Assets);
- Security Engineering (Engineering and Management of Security);
- Communications and Network Security (Designing and Protecting Network Security);
- Identity and Access Management (Controlling Access and Managing Identity);
- Security Assessment and Testing (Designing, Performing, and Analyzing Security Testing);
- Security Operations (Foundational Concepts, Investigations, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery);
- Software Development Security (Understanding, Applying, and Enforcing Software Security).
Examen
Het (Engelstalige) CISSP-examen is optioneel. Het examen bestaat uit 100 tot 150 vragen. De vragen gaan van makkelijk naar steeds moeilijker. Het programma stopt zodra het programma vindt dat u de stof beheerst of niet. Het CISSP-duurt maximaal 3 uur. Het oefenen van deze vragen is essentieel gezien de specifieke vraagstelling van het examen.
Om CISSP gecertificeerd te worden dient u te slagen voor het CISSP-examen en te beschikken over ten minste vijf jaar relevante werkervaring in ten minste twee CISSP-domeinen (zie boven), of vier jaar ervaring aangevuld met een HBO+-opleiding. Ook als u zich korter bezighoudt met de beveiliging van informatiesystemen is deze CISSP training zeer zinvol. In dat geval kunt u namelijk (ISC)2-associate worden. Na meer ervaringsjaren kunt u dan alsnog gecertificeerd worden. Meer informatie daarover vindt u op www.isc2.org.
